Chris completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science majoring in anatomy
and exercise
physiology before graduating from the School of Physiotherapy at
Monash University
in 2008 where he received numerous awards including Best Overall
Performance, Best
Performance in Neurological Physiotherapy and Best Performance in
Cardiorespiratory
Physiotherapy.
He has particular interest in sports physiotherapy, exercise
rehabilitation and clinical pilates. Chris’s professional
expertise and interest is fuelled by his personal involvement as a member of the
Australian Powerlifting Team competing internationally for the past 4 years.
Chris has an ongoing interest in physiotherapy education and tutors anatomy and
physiotherapy skills at Monash University and co-ordinates
undergraduate physiotherapy
clinical education.
Chris is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and an
active member of
Sports Physiotherapy Australia.

About Ashburton Osteopathy
Treatment at Ashburton Osteopathy is all hands on, using a wide range of techniques to suit each individual and their condition. Techniques utilized include: massage, muscle energy techniques (MET), joint mobilisation and articulation, manipulation, counterstrain and myofascial stretching.
